Fluorescent pigments can be divided into inorganic fluorescent pigments ( such as on the use of fluorescent lamps and fluorescent ink security with fluorescent pigments ) and organic fluorescent pigments ( also known as daylight fluorescent pigments ): only with some specific chemical structure of substances will have fluorescent properties. These fluorescent colorants often have deficiencies in the nature of light resistance, solvent resistance and so on. A method to overcome these deficiencies is that fusing them to the frame in polymer materials, and then processed into a pigment. 

This polymer materials can not only play the role of fluorescent colorants solvent, but also can  provide protection for fluorescent colorants, and fluorescent colorant will exhibit better light resistance and solvent resistance and other properties.
